On October 4, 2024, as part of theworking visit to the Republic of Armenia, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahmon Yusuf Ahmadzod took part in the 34th meeting of the Prosecutors General of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States and presentedthe topic: "The role and practice of the prosecutor's office of the Republic of Tajikistan in preventing extremism, terrorism and cybercrime."
The event was also attended by the heads of the prosecutor general's offices of the CIS member states - the Republic of Armenia, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Executive Secretary of the CIS CPGP.
During the meeting, a broad exchange of views took place on the role of the prosecutor's office in various areas of prosecutorial activity, including the introduction of modern technologies in the work of the prosecutor's office, the protection of state interests in corruption-related crimes, the protection of the rights of minors, the protection of entrepreneurship and support of investment projects, the training, retraining and advanced training of prosecutorial and investigative workers, the organization of prosecutorial supervision over the observance of the rights of socially vulnerable citizens and the prevention of extremism, terrorism and cybercrime.
The parties took note of the exchange of views with a view to possible consideration in practical activities and agreed to strengthen cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of the participating states in the above-mentioned areas.
