On October 3, 2024, within the framework of the working visit to the Republic of Armenia, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahmon Yusuf Ahmadzod met with the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Ms. Vardapetyan Anna Karenovna.
At the meeting, issues of intensifying efforts combating extremism, terrorism, cybercrime, drug trafficking, transnational organized crime, as well as security issues were discussed.
An agreement was reached on the issues of extradition of criminals, provision of legal assistance in criminal cases and other mutual legal assistance. The parties emphasized the importance of expanding close cooperation between the relevant law enforcement agencies of the states to resolve these issues.
