On November 4, 2024, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahmon Yusuf Ahmadzod, as part of the official visit of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the State of Kuwait, took part in a high-level international Сonference entitled “Strengthening international cooperation in the fight against terrorism and creation of effective border security mechanisms - the Kuwait stage of the Dushanbe process”.
The high-level Сonference opened with an opening speech by the Founder of National Peace and Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, and within the framework of the ministerial meeting, a report was presented by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Y.A. Rahmon on the topic “International cooperation of the Republic of Tajikistan in the fight against terrorism”.
At the same time, one of the thematic sessions of the High-Level Conference entitled “Dangers and Threats to Global Border Security: Regional Views from Central Asia, the Arab League and Africa” was chaired by the Head of the Unified Information Center for the Prevention of Extremism, Terrorism and Cybercrime of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan M.M. Mahmudzoda and his report was presented within the framework of the theme of the event.
