This humanitarian act, which applies to certain categories of individuals as provided by law, is a clear confirmation of the state's humanistic and social policy and provides citizens with the opportunity to improve and restore their social status and continue their constructive life in society.

In this regard, the heads and employees of the prosecutor's office were instructed to ensure strict oversight of the strict implementation of this Law and its proper practical application.

During the subsequent work of the board, the results of the prosecutor's office's activities for the first half of 2026 were comprehensively reviewed, as well as the state of prosecutorial oversight over the observance of human and civil rights and freedoms during inquiries, preliminary investigations, and the administration of justice.

During the discussion, the results of implementing the Leader of the Nation's instructions were analyzed. These include preventing and reducing crime, curbing the illegal use of electricity and excessive energy losses, preventing the theft of budget funds, ensuring compliance with legislation in the areas of regulating traditions, celebrations, and rituals, handling citizen appeals, land relations, architecture, and urban planning, combating crime, especially among minors and young people, combating illegal religious education, cybercrime, terrorism, extremism, corruption, the illegal trafficking of narcotics, potent psychotropic substances, and precursors, and compliance with other legal requirements.

It was noted that the crime rate decreased by 10.3 percent during the reporting period. To ensure compliance and enforcement of the law, 4,698 prosecutorial inspections were conducted, the violated rights and legitimate interests of 235,586 citizens were restored, 38,627 prosecutorial responses were issued, 47,602 individuals were held financially, disciplinary, and administratively liable, and 2,842 criminal cases were initiated.

Under prosecutorial responses, damages totaling 1 billion 159 million somoni were compensated, including 365 million somoni to the state. 107 hectares of land were returned to their original condition, and 1,430 head of livestock were restored.

During the reporting period, the prosecutor's office received 22,063 appeals from individuals and legal entities, of which 6,620 were directly reviewed by prosecutors, and 1,826 appeals were satisfied. Prosecutor's supervision was provided for 7,774 criminal cases, of which 7,254 were sent to court for consideration.

Prosecutor's investigators completed investigations into 2,471 criminal cases. During the preliminary investigation, 53.3 million somoni in damages were compensated, including 27.5 million somoni to the state.

Prosecutors participated in the consideration of 5,567 criminal cases, as well as 6,558 civil, family, economic, and administrative cases, and protests were filed against 507 unlawful judicial decisions.

To educate the public on legal matters, 14,011 meetings and discussions were held. 2,333 media appearances were organized, including 932 television and 713 radio programs, and 688 materials were published in print media. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Justice Habibullo Saidullo Vokhidzoda, gave the heads and staff of the prosecutor's offices specific instructions to further strengthen prosecutorial oversight, ensure the high-quality execution of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, properly implement the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Amnesty," intensify the fight against crime, particularly corruption, terrorism, extremism, and other negative phenomena, and ensure the high-level organization of events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
